Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Yahn was born and raised in Hemlock, MI. She is a graduate of St. Peter Lutheran School (2002), Swan Valley High School (2006) and Saginaw Valley State University (2010). After completion of her time at SVSU as a Presidential Scholar, in 2014 Dr. Yahn then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Michigan, which has had the prestigious designation of being ranked both the top dental school in the United States and in the world. During her time at U of M, Dr. Yahn was given several awards, including those for highest academic achievement, student leadership, and emerging educator.

She continued to pursue her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist by graduating from the University of Michigan again, earning both a certificate and Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry in 2016. During her time there, she saw many patients with complex special needs, spent time working in both the University of Michigan and Hurley Emergency Department, received extensive training in orthodontics, participated on craniofacial anomalies/cleft lip and palate teams, and spent time as an instructor in the Undergraduate Pediatric Dentistry Clinic. While at U of M, Dr. Yahn also designed and ran one of the first clinical trials for Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) in the United States and later became a published author on the subject.
After residency, she returned home to serve the community she grew up in, where she has practiced since 2017. Dr. Yahn is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has presented several continuing education courses and lectures on the topics of pediatric dentistry and traumatic dental injuries to other healthcare professionals and students.
Dr. Yahn resides in the Great Lakes Bay region with her husband, Steven, and their young family. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, decorating her office in all things nautical, visiting local farmers’ markets, and spending time with her family and their Corgi, Scoops (named after her love for ice cream!).
